The Conti Laser Welding Machine

The Conti laser welding machine can cover almost all common component dimensions. Whether it is a small support part, a B-pillar, a door inner panel or a large-format sunroof part, it can be manufactured on the Conti laser welding machine. 

The design principle of the Conti laser welding machine makes it possible to manufacture all these different parts with the same equipment. No component-specific clamping devices or the like are necessary for this. A particular advantage is that the machine automatically adapts to the next product to be produced. The conversion times are correspondingly minimal.

It is not crucial for the customer to load the components onto the system with high accuracy since the actual alignment and positioning of the components are carried out by the machine. The customer only has to place the components within a loading window and the machine takes care of everything else. 

The integrated “gap control loop” of the Conti laser welding machine also automatically adapts the welding to the current material quality of the components.
