The Baosteel Lasertechnik GmbH Ablation Conti 

The Ablation Conti machine is designed for the ablation of AlSi coated sheets. 

Ablation can be done in one pass both on the top side of the sheet and on the bottom side of the sheet. 

The Ablation Conti can cover almost all common component dimensions. Whether it is the starting material for a small support part, for a B-pillar, for a door inner panel, or for a large-format sunroof part, it can be ablated on the Ablation Conti. 

The design principle of the Ablation Conti allows the ablation of all these different parts with the same equipment. No component-specific clamping devices or the like are necessary for this. A particular advantage is that the machine automatically adapts to the next product to be produced. The conversion times are correspondingly minimal. 

A central advantage of the Ablation Conti is its very low idle time. The components are carried out continuously and with only minimal gaps between the components under the laser beam. In this way, the highest possible outputs can be achieved with the Ablation Conti. 

It is not crucial that the customer loads the components onto the system with high accuracy since the actual alignment and positioning of the components are only carried out by the machine. The customer only has to place the components within a loading window and the machine takes care of everything else.
